Daily Notes
Create a Daily Note
Aino LifeOS auto-creates a daily note each day. Click the "Today" shortcut in the left sidebar to open it.
What to Write in Daily Notes?
Recommended content:
- [ ] tasks in daily notes are auto-collected by the task inbox.
Daily notes don't need to be long. 3-5 bullet points are enough. The key is recording consistently every day.
Weekly Notes
Create Weekly Notes
Auto-created weekly, or manually create from the periodic notes navigation.
What to Write?
Review the past week, plan the next:
Monthly, Quarterly, Yearly Notes
Same approach, reviewing and planning from longer time perspectives.
Monthly — Goal completion status, next month adjustments Quarterly — Project retrospectives, direction adjustments Yearly — Annual review, next year goals
Use Templates
Set templates for each periodic note type. Auto-filled on creation:
- Configure templates in Settings
- Templates support dynamic variables like dates
- Auto-applied when creating new notes
Auto-Recording to Daily Notes
These features automatically write to your daily notes:
- Pomodoro — Completed pomodoro records (task name, duration)
- Clipping — Web content saved from the built-in browser
- Habits — Habit completion check-ins
