      Terms of Service

      These Terms govern your use of Aino LifeOS, Aino Desktop, Aino mobile, Aino Pro, and the website at https://aino.md.

      Aino mobile subscription

      Aino mobile includes a free local-first note experience. Aino Pro unlocks mobile AI answers and capture features, including questions across the LifeOS vault and selected context, Quick Journal, Home Screen widgets, Lock Screen widgets, Control Widget / Action Button access, and Shortcuts entry points.

      Aino Mobile Pro does not include hosted AI inference. To use AI answers, you must configure your own model API key or compatible service and comply with the applicable third-party terms.

      Current Aino mobile subscription options:

      • Monthly: $2.99 per month
      • Yearly: $24.99 per year

      Prices may vary by country, currency, taxes, and platform storefront. The final price is shown by Apple App Store billing or RevenueCat Web Billing before purchase.

      Aino Desktop one-time license

      Aino Desktop is the Aino LifeOS desktop app for local Markdown vaults, tasks, calendar planning, reviews, and AI-assisted workflows. Aino Desktop Pro is sold as a one-time license and is separate from the Aino mobile subscription. Buying Desktop Pro does not include Aino mobile Pro, and buying Aino mobile Pro does not include Desktop Pro.

      Desktop Pro activation covers up to three devices. Pricing, version access, update scope, refunds, and support terms are governed by the purchase page or the information confirmed before purchase.

      Aino Desktop does not provide hosted AI inference. AI features require your own model API keys, OpenAI-compatible endpoints, or locally configured CLI agents. You are responsible for complying with the terms of those third-party services or local tools.

      Auto-renewal and cancellation

      Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can manage or cancel an iOS subscription through your Apple ID subscription settings. Android web subscriptions are managed through the customer portal shown in the app or the purchase confirmation flow.

      Free trials, if offered, convert to a paid subscription unless cancelled before the trial ends.

      Refunds

      iOS refund requests are handled by Apple. Android web billing refund requests are handled through the web billing provider and support process. Aino Desktop one-time license refund requests are handled through the channel shown on the purchase page or the support process.

      Local data

      Aino is designed around local files. Vaults, notes, attachments, and configuration opened by Aino Desktop are stored by default in folders you choose on your device. You are responsible for backing up your vault and any third-party sync service you choose to use.

      Acceptable use

      Do not use Aino to violate laws, infringe rights, abuse third-party services, or interfere with the security or availability of the app or website.

      Changes

      We may update these Terms as Aino evolves. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
